Inaugurated on 2 July 2026 by the Cosmopolitan Group of Institutions, Cosmo IAS Civil Services Academy brings decades of combined faculty experience, modern infrastructure and personalised mentoring to Thiruvananthapuram — a new benchmark for Civil Services coaching in South India.
Cosmo IAS Civil Services Academy was inaugurated on 2 July 2026 by its Chairman, Dr N. Vijayakumar N, and Vice Chairman, Dr Jothishmathi N. The Academy is located at the VAIM Building, Model School Junction, Aristo Road, Thiruvananthapuram, just a short distance from Trivandrum Central Railway Station and the KSRTC Bus Stand, Thampanoor — a location aspirants travelling from Kollam, Kayamkulam, and stations across North and South Kerala find especially convenient.

The Academy is an initiative of the Cosmopolitan Group of Institutions, Chennai, a reputed educational group with a distinguished presence in Tamil Nadu for several decades, with excellence across schools, B.Ed. and M.Ed. colleges, Marine Engineering, and various professional and technical courses.
Recognising the growing importance of Thiruvananthapuram as an emerging hub for Civil Services coaching in South India, the Cosmopolitan Group envisioned an institution that would set new benchmarks in quality and academic excellence — combining experienced faculty, modern infrastructure, and a student-centric learning environment under one roof.
With this vision, Cosmo IAS Civil Services Academy has been established with Dr Adil Succena, a dermatologist by profession, as its Managing Director, to provide comprehensive and result-oriented coaching for the Civil Services Examination. The Academy offers state-of-the-art classrooms, a well-planned curriculum, personalised mentoring, and an environment that nurtures discipline, confidence, and academic excellence.
A major strength of the Academy is its highly experienced faculty — every member brings 20 to 25 years of teaching and mentoring experience, with special expertise in guiding IAS aspirants in their respective subjects. Their expertise, combined with individual guidance and continuous mentorship, helps students build a strong conceptual foundation and develop the skills required to succeed in the Civil Services Examination.
The Academy also boasts excellent infrastructure. The library is stocked with a comprehensive collection of standard reference books, journals, magazines, newspapers, and current affairs publications, and remains open until 10:30 p.m. to support intensive preparation in a peaceful academic atmosphere.
The Academy is privileged to have the guidance and patronage of Dr P. M. Nair, IPS (Retd.), and Dr G. Gopakumar — both widely respected for their contributions to public service and education. Beyond mentoring, both patrons personally teach their respective subjects, Sociology and Political Science. At Cosmo IAS Civil Services Academy, the mission is not merely to coach students for an examination, but to inspire and prepare the next generation of ethical, competent, and dedicated civil servants.
